At Warrior Voices Radio, our mission is to empower our Nation’s military veterans, active-duty service members, and military spouses by providing free training, professional voice-over equipment, career development opportunities, and on-air radio time. 

We believe that the powerful voices of our warriors deserve to be heard…not just in battle, but in broadcasting, entertainment, and storytelling. By equipping them with the tools and skills needed to succeed in the voice-over, radio, and media industries, we’re helping forge new careers, spark creative passions, and ensure their voices continue to lead, inspire, and entertain.

We want to be a resource for Veterans who are looking to change careers, transitioning into civilian life after discharge or continuing on their path to a career in the Broadcast Industry.

Absolutely! As a military Veteran, Active Duty personnel or a Military Spouse, your training is paid for through our generous donors and sponsors. All you need to do is commit yourself to doing what it takes to make it happen! If you decide to utilize one of our available grants, we expect you to follow through and complete the course in its entirety.  It’s not all hard work and it can be a whole lot of fun, but it is a commitment.

Getting started is simple. Just reach out to us through our Contact button on this page and let us know where your interest lies. We’ll set up a call with you and go over “next steps” and what you’ll need to be successful. You will need to send us a redacted DD Form 214 or Certificate of Release to confirm your military service. 

That’s entirely up to your availability, what your chosen path of study might be and the availability of an instructor if you wish to receive one-on-one coaching. The VO training course is accessible 24/7 online and you can complete the training at your pace, so it’s pretty flexible.

We would love for you to be able to host a time slot on Warrior Voices Radio! That was our initial goal for Veterans joining us as a VO talent or broadcaster, but we also realized that working in Broadcasting encompasses so many other roles as well, so we expanded our offering to include on-air personality and podcaster.. 

Nope! We will assign you a time slot for your show to air, and then…you can just pre-record your show in our Broadcast Software at least a week in advance of your scheduled time slot. So for example, if you host a 2-hour show, it should only take about an hour or so to record just your voice tracks and that should free you up from having to sit at your workstation for hours on end.

Perfect!  We can help you get started and show you how to find the right platform to host your podcast. We will also have it available for listening on our station’s webpage for people to be able to find you as well.
